The current Breakthrough after B.Sc(H& HA):- The Ideal career breakthrough for the graduating B.Sc. The student comes in the form of selection as a management trainee in a reputed hotel chain company. The graduates learned on the job and assume the entry-level position in the management hierarchy of the hotel. After gaining 1 or 2-year experience on the job they have the option to enroll in a full-time, part-time, or distance-learning MBA program. They give an excellent career ladder to the graduates.

There is another trend being witnessed in India where B.Sc. graduates instead of joining the industry opt to presume their further education in hospitality tourism management and general management and such graduates have been known to get opportunities not only in hotels but also in other service sectors companies like the bank insurance, Retail or facilities management companies.
Medical Fitness:- by virtue of the nature of the hospitality industry the people working in it come in close contact with customers of the business in general and while handling the food utensils etc.  In particular, they have to be free from all kinds of communicable diseases like Skin infection, TB, etc. the work in the hospitality industry calls for a very high level of physical fitness.
